George Pasias joined the firm in 2019. As a litigator he practices both criminal and civil litigation.
Moreover, he drafts legal opinions and other contractual documentation and represents clients in litigation proceedings before the Supreme Court of Cyprus and the District Courts, as well as before the more specialized Employment and Rent Control Tribunals.
He has handled criminal law cases relating to sexual offenses, drug offenses, juvenile delinquency, offenses against the person, and applications for Writ of Certiorari. Furthermore, he has handled civil tort cases regarding trespass, personal injury and negligence, contract law cases for breach of commercial agreements and cases of termination of employment.
George obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens. Additionally, he studied Law at the European University Cyprus, from which he graduated in 2018 having been awarded as the top scoring student of Law Class 2018.

George has completed a 40hr training as a mediator at the Cyprus Center of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
George Pasias will be speaking at the "TRAINING OF LAWYERS ON EU CRIMINAL LAW" seminar on the 24th of October 2024. He will be presenting Directive (EU) 2016/343 on the strengthening of the presumption of innocence and the right to be present at the trial.
George Pasias attended a 2 day seminar on EU Criminal law that took place in Bucharest 20.6.24. Participants from 9 EU Member States discussed access to a lawyer, presumption of innocence and legal aid in criminal proceedings.
